Over 40 years’ experience in coach tours
So that’s the Grand UK Holidays of today, but how did it all start? Well, it all started with one man, a plan and £500!
Founder and Managing Director Paul Bennett started the company in 1983, and building the business into the great organisation it is today has been his life's work. Determination and a desire to succeed saw the company go from strength to strength, increasing the number of tours, destinations and holidays on offer annually. Loyal customers returned calling for “More!” and expansion into Europe (and beyond!) soon followed. Seeing a need for a luxury offering, Grand UK Gold was born, offering state-of-the-art coaches, leather reclining seats and increased comfort for discerning travellers.
Our coach tours have won many admirers over the years and in 2015 Paul was awarded the Silver Travel Advisor Age UK Exceptional Achievement Award for delivering outstanding service to the mature travel sector. Very much still at the heart of the business today, Paul puts the success of Grand UK down to a loyal and dedicated team, some of whom have been with the company since its beginnings in 1983, and of course to all our amazing customers for their tremendous loyalty over all these years.
