The weather may be a bit gloomy now, but give it a few weeks and Spring will be here and it will be time to start thinking about your Summer holiday.

Eastbourne
Located close to the South Downs in the South East of England, Eastbourne is the perfect destination for a short seaside break. With miles of beaches and plenty of attractions to visit there is plenty to do whilst visiting this seaside town.
Beachy Head, the UK’s highest chalk cliff, is a popular destination to visit having featured in a number of TV programmes and films. In August every year the town hosts the famous Eastbourne Air Show, the highlight of which is a flypast by the Red Arrows.
Bournemouth
Nestled along the South Coast, Bournemouth offers sweeping views across the sea from cliff tops and long golden sandy beaches. Bournemouth has origins as a spa town and was popular with Victorian era holidaymakers.
The bustling town centre is walking distance from the seafront making it a great destination to wander around. Not too far from Bournemouth you’ll find Poole, it’s famed for its natural harbour which is the largest in Europe.
Great Yarmouth
Located on the East Coast of Norfolk, Great Yarmouth is a favourite for all ages all year round. With miles of soft sandy beaches, seaside amusements, sand dunes and donkey rides, Great Yarmouth is certainly your stereotypical seaside resort.
The Pleasure Beach is one of the top attractions with plenty of high tech rides and amusements. Those who are feeling active can perhaps have a game or two of mini golf or ten pin bowling.
Newquay
Located in the South West on Cornwall’s Atlantic Coast, Newquay is a popular holiday resort surrounded by a collection of stunning beaches and postcard-perfect harbours.
Rugged coastal paths give access to hidden coves and rock pools to explore. Within easy reach of Newquay is the Zoo, Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre, The Eden Project, Bodmin Jail and more.
For those looking for a stunning backdrop for a drink or dinner head down to Lusty Glaze, a secluded cove a short walk from Newquay town centre.
Llandudno
Situated in North Wales, Llandudno is framed by two headlands and is a classic seaside resort. With blue flag beaches, a pier and even a Punch and Judy show this is a perfect seaside resort to enjoy a few days away.
One of the most famous attractions to visit whilst in Llandudno is the Great Orme, a mini mountain rising out of the sea. Visitors can board a cable car or tramway to ascend to the top, or for those who are a little more energetic you can also walk.
Torquay
Torquay is located on Devon’s coast, famed for its bustling harbour, international marina, iconic palm trees and continental restaurants and cafes.
The town is part of the UNESCO accredited English Riviera Global Geopark due to its outstanding natural beauty and stunning coastline.
Visitors to Torquay can also visit nearby Paignton and Brixham.
Blackpool
When you think about seaside breaks, one of the first resorts to come to mind has to be Blackpool. In addition to the miles of sandy beaches, Blackpool has plenty to offer visitors with the famous Blackpool Tower and Ballroom, guests can ascend the tower and enjoy panoramic views across the bay or perhaps join an afternoon tea dance if they’d rather.
Those who are feeling a little more adventurous can also head to the Pleasure Beach and enjoy a collection of high adrenaline rides.
Scarborough
Situated on the Yorkshire Coast Scarborough is a great seaside town in its own right. The town has dramatic cliffs with a famous castle towering over the harbour and beyond.
With both a North and South Bay, the beaches consist of golden powdery sand and welcome thousands of holidaymakers throughout the summer months.
The harbour is still seen as the heart of the town and is close to the historic old town.
