Grand UK Holidays is proud to collect passengers from through the South East, East Anglia and the Home Counties and joining our tours couldn’t be easier.

On UK short break holidays you can choose from over 230 local FREE joining points, across our two regional collection areas. On our Gold holidays, we go a step further and collect you from home before connecting you to our transfer network, safely returning you to your doorstep at the end of your holiday.

And from 2025 all of our UK and Ireland holidays of 7 days or more duration, along with all European coach holidays and river cruise holidays, include a door to door service, adding an extra level of service and comfort at the beginning and end of your holiday.

We also include a door to door service on our Jersey by air programme and all of ocean cruise holidays. For more information on all of our departure options please see below.

We have introduced improvements to our network of local pick up points across eastern, central and southern England, aimed at shortening your journey times and getting you away on holiday more easily and conveniently, meaning an altogether more relaxing start. We now have two pick up regions so your travel days will be more convenient, providing more efficient journeys, meeting your tour manager and fellow travellers earlier and in most cases arriving in resort earlier.

The Tour Ref on the holiday itinerary indicates whether the tour departs from Region A or Region B by having either an A or B at the end. For example, GUK5A would be a tour departing from Region A

Traveling from Departure Area A: Our new and improved network means for all for all short break holidays you join your tour coach at our interchange area at Northampton Services on the M1, at junction 15A.

Travelling from Departure Area B: Our new and improved network means for all short break holidays you join your tour coach at our interchange area at Beaconsfield Services on the M40, at junction 2.

You have the opportunity to choose the coach seat of your choice which is yours from the moment you join your tour coach at the interchange.

Seat numbers are not allocated on regional transfer services, Mystery Tours, Lucky Dip Holidays and Channel Islands Holidays or on river cruise excursions operated by CroisiEurope.

In most cases on standard coaches equipped with a rear mounted WC, seats 23 and 24 move to the driver’s side of the vehicle, whilst seats 45 and 46 move one seat forward of the rear seat. 

Please note that smoking is not permitted on coaches, this includes the use of substitute tobacco and nicotine products such as e-cigarettes.

Great news, our longer duration UK and Ireland holidays (7 days+), as well as all European coach holidays, river cruises and our new ocean cruise collection, now include a Door to Door Service. This means you can relax right from the very start of your holiday as our local taxi partners collect you from home and transfer you to your tour coach. On your return you are safely returned back to your doorstep.

With this service, it may be necessary to share your Door to Door vehicle with other passengers. The pick up will be at the address of the lead name on the booking. We are only able to collect at ground level locations.

Our Holidays by Rail (pages 104-107) are carefully researched itineraries to make the most of your holiday. Your joining station is stated  under TRAIN TIMES listed on each relevant page. First class travel is often available so look out for the special upgrade options.
Depending on where you live, and where you are travelling, it may be more convenient for you to join your coach holiday directly at your chosen resort, interchange area or seaport to avoid unnecessary travelling.

 If you wish to choose this option you must state this at the time of booking and we will deduct £25 per person from the cost of your holiday by coach.
At all interchange areas, there are baggage handlers on duty to handle your luggage, and interchange controllers on hand to help and advise you if you have any queries. Any hand luggage taken on-board our coaches are your own responsibility.

For security reasons you are responsible for your own luggage at airports, train stations and some seaports - although trolleys are usually available.
Final travel information will be sent to you approximately 10 days prior to your departure.

We let you choose where you want to join us, which could be your nearest town, or an interchange if you’d prefer. If you join at a local pick-up point, we'll pick you up and take you safely to one of our interchanges, where you will join your holiday coach and head to your resort destination.
