Carpet Gardens

Eastbourne's Carpet Gardens, located on Eastbourne's seafront between the pier and the bandstand, are renowned for their vibrant and meticulously designed floral displays. These gardens showcase an array of exotic plants and flowers, creating intricate patterns reminiscent of carpet designs. Beachy Head

Just east of Seven Sisters, you will find Beachy Head. The highest chalk sea cliff in Britain, standing at an impressive 530 feet tall, and is known for its dramatic and spectacular views of the southern coastline, including the famous red and white striped lighthouse.

Eastbourne Bandstand

Eastbourne Bandstand, an iconic seafront venue, is renowned for its distinctive blue domed roof and art deco architecture. Built in 1935, it hosts a variety of performances, including concerts, tribute acts, and firework displays. This historic bandstand, beautifully situated overlooking the English Channel, continues to be a vibrant hub for entertainment and community events in Eastbourne.

Rye

The Bluebell Line Railway is famous for being one of the first preserved heritage lines in the country. Reopened in 1960, it features immaculately restored stations and vintage steam locomotives with antiquated carriages and runs 11 miles from Sheffield Park to East Grinstead.
