Nestled in the hills of South Limburg, Valkenburg is a town known for its picturesque streets, enchanting architecture, and healing thermal springs. 

Valkenburg also referred to as "Marlstone Town," is rich in soft yellow marlstone and lime, which can be found in the soil, and there are more than 150 miles of underground passageways (caves) beneath the town.

Keukenhof Gardens, sometimes referred to as the "Garden of Europe," is a large floral wonderland that has over seven million tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths in full bloom every spring.
