The town has an almost Mediterranean feel to it thanks to the palms, the busy harbour with its opulent boats, and the exquisite street façades. It also has a distinct cosmopolitan taste.

During the season, the theatres host star-studded shows at night, and there are plenty of things to see and do during the day, such as beautiful parks and gardens and miles of breathtaking walks along the bay's waterfront.

Brixham, a stunningly beautiful beach town on South Devon's scenic English Riviera, was built on limestone.

The town was built around the busy waterfront, and a charming array of colourful residences can be found lining the little streets that branch out of it. Cafés, cafes, and artisan stores are situated beside shops that offer freshly caught fish from the area.

Long sandy beaches are the main attraction of Paignton, a vibrant, historic seaside town that is well-known for its bustling coastline and pleasant environment.

Originally Paignton was a Celtic settlement and before the harbour was built in the 19th century, it was a fishing village.

The Victorians fell in love with the town when the railway arrived in 1859 and brought in a lot of tourists. Even now, Paignton remains one of the most popular resorts in the United Kingdom and a symbol of the English Riviera.

Dartmoor National Park is a large moorland located in the county of Devon.

Dartmoor National Park, which is made up of rivers, ponds, woodlands, and granite tors that formed some 280 million years ago, is also home to the famous Dartmoor ponies who wander its untamed landscape. Trails wind across valleys lined with Neolithic tombs, derelict mediaeval farmhouses, and Bronze Age stone circles.

The countryside is dotted with many communities, one of which is Princetown, the site of Dartmoor Prison in the Napoleonic era.

Based in a historic pottery-making facility, the House of Marbles creates high-quality vintage and traditional toys and games.

You will be engrossed for hours with the incredible assortment of specially constructed marble runs, fairground mirrors, penny presses, and a massive floating marble.

Teign Valley Glass has experienced glassblowers on display for visitors to observe.

You can wander along the historic trail and visit the listed kilns in addition to the museums that showcase glass, games, marbles, and Bovey Pottery

By all standards, Buckfast Abbey is a modern abbey, having been founded barely over a century ago.

Beginning in 1906 and continuing for thirty years, Benedictine Monks painstakingly restored the Abbey by hand.

The surrounding churches' architecture includes granite and traditional stained glass windows with numerous storylines.

Buckfast Abbey is beautiful inside and out. Walking around the well-kept gardens is delightful. Why not purchase some of the well-known tonic wine from the gift shop after your visit?
