Visit the well-known tourist destination Bowness-on-Windermere, which is known for its vibrant lakeside quays and charming lanes, before cruising Lake Windermere to see the surrounding landscape from a new perspective.

Keswick, a market town on the shores of Derwentwater, is situated by the banks of Thirlmere. It offers flat, easy-to-follow trails that wind through woodland or along the lakeshore. There are several fascinating historical places in Keswick to explore, including the Derwent Pencil Museum, the Bowder Stone, the Castlerigg Stone Circle, and the Honister Slate Mine.

William Wordsworth, the poet, lived in the picturesque historic village of Grasmere, which he famously called "the most loveliest spot that man hath found." The village features both beautiful and historic architecture along the lake.

Hill Top - Beatrix Potter's House

Explore Beatrix Potter's world through the eyes of Peter Rabbit at National Trust Hill.

Acquired in 1905 through the profits from Peter Rabbit, Beatrix drew inspiration for numerous of her "little books" from the area around Hill Top.

Notable locations include the garden where Tom Kitten and his sisters played and the rhubarb patch where Jemima Puddle-Duck deposited her egg!
