COACH HOLIDAYS TO BELFAST

A selection of escorted tours and holidays to Belfast by coach

Join us on a coach holiday to Belfast, a city of enormous variety and beauty, where the warmest welcome is ensured.

The city is steeped in culture and industrial heritage, combining magnificent architecture, great food, fantastic tourist attractions and modern shopping centres. This historic city boasts a range of architectural treasures from Belfast Castle in the cobblestone-laned Cathedral Quarter, from Belfast Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral Church of St. Anne, The Albert Clock (Belfast’s own leaning tower!) to one of Belfast's most recognisable landmarks, Belfast City Hall with its distinctive Edwardian silhouette and prominent position in the city skyline.

Titanic Quarter situated on Belfast’s Maritime Mile represents the city's strong industrial and maritime history with iconic Samson and Goliath, towering Harland & Wolff cranes, which are the site of the Titanic's construction, whereas the Titanic Belfast itself is situated on the point from which the historic ship was launched. Offering visitors an interesting insight into the story of RMS Titanic, from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to her initial voyage and subsequent role in history.

For those looking for a more relaxed pace on their city break in Belfast, a trip to the beautiful Botanical Gardens is recommended. They house the Palm House and the Tropical Ravine, offering a lush, green escape in the heart of the city. Set within the botanical gardens you will find the Ulster Museum which features extensive collections of art, history, and natural sciences, including exhibits on Irish history and the Spanish Armada. For those that love shopping, Belfast hosts a range of shops and stores to browse in its centre, alongside St George’s Market, originally a meat market built with traditional red brick walls and ornate detailing of the Victorian era, now the market holds regular market days, with a range of vendors selling everything from artisan foods, handcrafted jewellery, unique artworks, clothing, to antiques and other crafts.

Belfast is perfectly positioned and known as the gateway for exploring the natural wonders of Northern Ireland. Journey along the beautiful Antrim Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty past the stunning and diverse landscapes towns and villages of the Nine Glens, to reach cultural gems such as the Giant’s Causeway, and the traditional distillery of Bushmills Irish Whiskey to the small seaside town of Ballycastle with its pretty harbour, crystal-clear waters and stunning views of the rugged coastline. For the daring traveller, visit the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge (set 30 metres above the rocks below!) that connects the little island of Carrickarede to the mainland.

Whether you're interested in touring natural landmarks, and ancient ruins, sampling whiskey at distilleries, or soaking in the beautiful landscapes, there's a fully escorted coach holiday to Belfast that's perfect for you.
